A Poem for the Planet
A Poem for the Planet is an educational and exciting new poetry and design competition aimed at schools and young people in the Sheffield area.
Participants need to send a poem that is 25 lines or under, about absolutely anything related to conservation and the environment. We're particularly interested in entries that consider areas of the UK worth preserving - think about the countryside which surrounds Sheffield for example, or National Parks across the UK.
We're also after a conservation themed book cover design, which includes the words 'A Poem for the Planet.'
We're looking out for thoughtful and original poems, and a design that's bright, bold and eye-catching. Our favourite poets and designers will win prizes, and the best of the rest shall be published! Yippee!
